The Tinagenda is an academic agenda designed not only to act as an organization tool, but also a companion for self-development, self-love and a touch of creativity on the daily.

Tinagenda front cover
The most recent Tinagenda (2023-2024) contains:
• an overview of the included months
• 5 timetables templates
• 2 doodles to color
• some note pages
Each of the 12 themed months include:
• a calendar overview
• a mood tracker
• habit trackers, a goals section, inspirational quotes & activities
• a monthly playlist with suggested songs and empty slots
• a monthly recap with questions
• weekly spreads with daily note-taking boxes

Brief
The first Tinagenda (2022-2023) was originally requested by a friend who wanted an academic agenda with a twist. She mentioned wanting additional elements such as mood trackers, habit trackers, and song suggestions, all of which I was already designing for myself. The second Tinagenda includes some modifications based on the users' feedback.
Creative Process
Background
I have been journaling for years now, a practice that started along with a journey of self-growth at 15 years old.
I therefore chose to make this agenda act as a companion for the user's self-improvement and daily fun by merging functionality and creativity.

Design Thinking
When designing the Tinagenda, I opted for characteristics reminiscent of a personal journal by designing all the elements freehandedly, including the typeface.
The amicable aspect is further created through cream-colored, diary-like pages, playful monthly themes, suggestions for activities, songs, and inspiration, as well as end-of-month check-ins with supportive messages.
Challenges
This project being the second edition of my first large-scale independent graphic design project, I encountered more than a few roadblocks:
• last minute decisions and changes
• trying to respond to the various feedback points
• keeping the agenda features manageable for daily usage
• fulfilling the now higher expectations of the first agenda users
• predicting the amount of copies to print and selling them

Final Outcome
Favorite Details
Apart from the handmade aspect and the overall agenda-journal fusion, a unique selling point of the agenda was the idea of numbering the copies on the back (from 1 to 100) so that no two agendas are the same. This refers back to the freehanded quality found in the Tinagenda identity.
Lessons Learned
This project mainly taught me the importance of two things:
• accounting for more time than estimated
• printing less copies
In other words, time and money are of the essence.
Future Paths
The Tinagenda will keep on being designed, but user feedback has shown a stronger need for yearly planners instead of academic ones. As I had focused on my capstone project in the fall of 2024, I did not design a Tinagenda for 2025. Starting from 2026, the Tinagenda will be spanning from January to December and will continue being improved and modified based on user preference and feedback.
Some new features to expect include:
• fun facts, challenges, doodles, and movie suggestions to spice up the weekly spreads
• monthly recipes or craft tutorials to have an activity to look forward to at the end of each month
Another interesting request is the creation of Tinagenda Light or Express, which would only include the essential spreads for the users that do not have enough time to complete everything.
